App distribution in the European Union
Apple has announced that from March 2024, app developers can distribute their apps to customers in the European Union through alternative app marketplaces. These changes are made due to the European Union’s Digital Markets Act (DMA) that Apple has to comply with.
P-Edge media, a company from the EU, has chosen to use Apple's original App Store to continue to distribute all currently available apps, and will not distribute its apps through alternative app marketplaces.
Customers who want to install and use P-Edge media apps can continue to do so in the same way as before. In App Purchases and subscriptions will remain available and payable using Apple's own App Store payment system.
