 This is one of my all time favourite Game & Watch games, along with Green House and Donkey Kong Jr.
As in Donkey Kong Jr., you are the son of Donkey Kong and have to rescue your father from the clutches of that plumber bastard Mario.

Unique about Donkey Kong II is that once you get a key and unlock one of the four locks with it, you have to walk all the way down to get the next one.
In the first Donkey Kong as well as in Donkey Kong Jr. you were automatically put back to the bottom screen after succeeding.
This makes Donkey Kong II more flexible because the action is two-way.
